March 6-8 2008 Eugene | | My husband goes to one horse show per year. This was a great one for him to attend because I wanted to head down to show just on Sat. We hadn't tested out the January Upgrades, batteries and water pump. I didn't to alot of packing and discovered lots of missing items once we headed out. It drove like a champ. We headed down Friday evening, crashed at a rest stop, then finished the drive the next morning. My husband stayed in the rig all day using the systems. He had the laptop plugged in to 12 volt which would have drained the original battery in hours. I took a shower and my assessment of the new powerful pump is not so good. I cannot turn the shower on far enough to keep the pump pressure full. So the pressure goes from full to nothing every 10 seconds or so. This is unfortunate:( The pressure from the sinks is awesome. When we headed home at 11pm Saturday night the battery was still full. We crashed again at a rest stop on the way home then got up the next morning and continued on home. The true test of the battery will be next weekend when I am vending for 3 days. |
