April 2006 - First attempts at boondocking | | Again, kind of a cheat because this was a horse show, but it was my first true boon docking attempt. My aunt and I drove down to a one day horse show and we stayed overnight unconnected to anything. All systems worked great! We used the generator a couple of times to prepare meals, the refer and the heat all worked perfectly on LP. It got very cold that night since it was still April. We were parked right outside the show barn so my walk was like 30 paces to see Sweetie. What a great trip! |
