February 2006 - Oregon | | Technically I do not post my horse show trips, but because this trip was the first of 2006 I thought it would be an interesting post. I de-winterized myself, for the first time. I learned that there are hot/cold shutoff valves under the kitchen sink. I found this out when I turned on the waterpump and water gushed out.
Got an oilchange, checked the air in the tires. . I had one really low tire that Les Schwab repaired as it had lost a battle with a nail. Packed up everything. Filled up the LP. All systems checked out fine.
This show did not have water connections, but we did get electricity. I dont know what size tank I have, but it worked fine for two people, showers and all. I was worried about the grey tank so we took very quick showers. It was cold, below freezing. It rained buckets and was even nice one day. I watched a couple of movies on the LCD TV. I tracked in so much mud that I gave up on the throw rugs. Thank goodness the floor is all linoleum. I am ever so thankful I found a motorhome with no carpet. I wanted to bake cookies in my oven but did not feel brave enough to try and light it. I will try that at home. I hear I have to light it just like the stove. I will report on how that goes when I get the gumption to try it. |
