July 2005 - Anacortes | | Another low tide excursion, this time we went up to Anacortes. The low tide beach we went too had a mean Park Ranger that would not let us beach comb. We felt ripped off and were bored in the afternoon. Had a lazy day pretty much. Stayed at a really large Campground, again, very nice. I think we are batting 1000 on campgrounds. We are careful to check a ground out carefully before we commit. This was a state park with hookups for $27. We had a friend come with us and he tented on a grassy patch right behind us. We brought firewood for roasting hotdogs and made S'mores for dessert. Nice weather, and no bugs. |
