June 2005 - Port Angeles | | This trip was for tide pooling during a very low tide mark. We took the ferry and drove up past Sequim. The park we had planned to stay at was closed. Don't know why, but we were sad. The campground was a great oceanfront location where we had tent camped. We found another campground with no trouble, again, the RV worked great. I had my new LCD/DVD TV to play with this time. I watched a movie, now how is that for roughing it! We determined we needed to get a Nerf Football, or bring our mitts and a softball. The grounds were a huge grassy field that would have been perfect for such outdoor activity.
This trip was a 2 dayer. Our second night we stayed at a state park with no hookups. We used the generator to prepare our dinner in the Microwave. Again the campground worked very well, and I thought that $17 was pretty reasonable. |
